This year's Catch a Cure for Cancer campaign, which included a radiothon and Celebrity Waiters Dinner and Auction, raised more than $400,000. Catch a Cure for Cancer benefits The Gregory Fund for early cancer-detection research at the Center. The Gregory Fund, a collaboration of The Moyer foundation and the Center, is named after Gregory Chaya, who was 2 years old and suffering from leukemia when former Seattle Mariners pitcher Jamie Moyer first met him. Chaya underwent a lifesaving bone-marrow transplant at the Center and has participated in Catch a Cure each year since it began in 2002.
