Security seminar April 26: Protecting children online

Jack Cusack, Security manager, invites all Center facility, staff and visitors to attend a seminar to learn how to protect children from online predators Thursday, April 26, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in Pelton Auditorium. Detective Malinda Wilson of the Seattle Police Department will present the seminar, "General Internet Safety with Focus on Safeguarding Children from Online Predators and Intimidators."

A member of the Seattle Police for 20 years, Wilson has investigated Internet crimes against children for approximately the last seven years. She has presented talks on Internet safety and awareness to thousands of children and adults, in Washington, Alaska and California. As an instructor for the Washington State Basic Law Enforcement Academy, Wilson also teaches other law enforcement officers in the field of Internet crimes investigations.
