EH&S safety tips for winter storm navigation behind the wheel

In the event of a winter storm, the Environmental Health and Safety Department recommends tuning to your local television and radio stations or National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration radio to get the latest information. The National Weather Service reports that 70 percent of injuries due to snow and ice result from vehicular accidents, so stay home if weather is bad. But, if you must venture out in a storm, here are some suggestions from EH&S:


GET A free Flu shot from EH&S

Flu shots are still available free of charge to Center faculty and staff through the Environmental Health and Safety Department. For clinic schedules, visit centernet.fhcrc.org/CN/depts/ehs or call (206) 667-4866.
