The Research Trials Office's Clinical Informatics Shared Resource will begin an ongoing series of informatics lectures the last Thursday of every month, 8-9 a.m., starting July 26 in Weintraub, B1-074/076.
The series, which will feature internal and external speakers with expertise in health informatics, began with a presentation in May by Marina Nillni, project manager at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Nillni spoke about Dana-Farber's experience with the implementation of an electronic data-capture tool for investigator-initiated clinical trials. Videotaped copies of the lectures will be available in the Arnold Library.
