Three of the Hutchinson Center’s leading infectious disease
researchers will present a public symposium on H1N1 swine flu at 7 p.m.
Wednesday in Pelton Auditorium. Faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
The symposium—Think Globally, Act Locally: Managing Swine
Flu at Home and Around the World—will feature Drs. Larry Corey, Ira Longini and
Corey Casper, who will discuss what the public can do to protect itself, the
importance of vaccines to prevent swine flu infection, and how the pandemic can
spread among people and communities.
