Sign up now for United Way Day of Caring Sept. 21

The United Way's 16th annual Day of Caring takes place Friday, Sept. 21. Day of Caring is a communitywide volunteer event that tackles more than 300 projects — including painting, yardwork, food service and clothing drives — all in a single day.

Staff and faculty are encouraged to form teams and sign up for their choice of projects as a way of giving back to the Seattle community. Last year, 57 employees from the Center and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance volunteered. The Center provides a regular day of pay for participation; however, workloads and schedules vary, so before signing up, check with your supervisor and work group.
