Fire drills will be conducted by the Environmental Health & Safety Office, with the support of Facilities Engineering and Security, in all buildings at the dates and times specified below. An audible evacuation alarm will sound. Staff should evacuate in an orderly fashion and report to the designated assembly area. The duration of the drill should not exceed 10 minutes.
Evacuation preparedness and training plays a vital role in reducing fire-related injury and death in a fire incident. EH&S urges all staff to participate in the annual drills.
