Welcome to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center's newly redesigned website. We have created this page to provide you with some information about the site.
The Center’s new website offers visitors a fresh design, larger typeface for easier reading and faster, one-click navigation to several of its pages. The new site is intended to help the Center meet the online expectations of its faculty, staff, supporters, patients and scientific collaborators.
Please take time to explore the new site. Some new features include:
- Redesigned disease pages to better share the Center’s scientific findings with patients, family, friends and caregivers.
- The new Labs & Projects section allows visitors to learn more about the Hutchinson Center’s scientific work and the people who make it possible.
- Interactive Google maps for the Hutchinson Center campus as well as nearby restaurants and lodging options for visitors in the Visit Us section.
- Updated photography, including images of the Hutchinson Center’s campus and the Northwest environment that are screened onto the background of each of the site’s pages.
Redesigning the website was an effort that involved staff and faculty from across the Hutchinson Center, as well as numerous volunteers. Supporters participated in usability studies, developed web pages and posed for photographs in their labs.
We hope you find this new website helpful in assisting us with our mission of eradicating cancer and other diseases.
