The mysteries of cancer, still affecting the more than one million Americans diagnosed each year, can only be solved by new thinking.

The President’s Circle — a distinguished group of individuals and corporate affiliates who share Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center’s vision for the elimination of cancer and related diseases — provides critical, aggregate funding to speed the development of new ideas and innovations in research as they emerge.

Annual gifts of $10,000 or more through the President's Circle sustain programs vital to the Hutchinson Center’s mission, including: pilot research projects, shared research facilities and equipment, faculty recruitment and training for the next generation of biomedical researchers. President’s Circle funding acts as a catalyst for our scientists to pursue new research that leads to groundbreaking discoveries that save lives.

Today, the pace and potential of research has vastly accelerated and cannot be supported by government grants alone. The need for flexible private funding is great if we are to build on our history of making lifesaving strides in our research.
