A Phase III Randomized Study of Exemestane versus Placebo in Postmenopausal Women at Increased Risk of Developing Breast Cancer (NCIC CTG MAP3)

This is a five-year study looking at whether taking a medication (exemestane) could reduce the risk of developing breast cancer in postmenopausal women at high risk of breast cancer.
This is an outpatient study.
Volunteers will be required to come to a clinic visit at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center at 7 different time points over a 5 year period. This visit will last approximately 30 minutes.
