IRTTO works closely with Center faculty and research staff to patent their breakthrough discoveries, facilitate scientific collaboration and material sharing, and license intellectual property to existing businesses or newly created startup companies.
Partnership is critical to our process. IRTTO is dedicated to fostering creative and productive relationships with industry, investors and entrepreneurs that have the greatest impact possible on our mission of eliminating cancer and other diseases.
These collaborations provide the public with new and useful products, provide companies with access to new technologies, and generate revenue for the Center that is reinvested in future research and shared with the inventors.
