Faculty Member

Overview

The Division of Basic Sciences invites applications for experienced faculty members. We are seeking outstanding scientists who are conducting cutting-edge research into fundamental biological questions and who have an outstanding track record of funding and publications. Applicants should have a proven ability to perform independent research as an independent fellow, tenure-track, or tenured faculty member or equivalent. Current members of the Division investigate diverse areas of structural, developmental, computational, molecular, genetic, metabolic, evolutionary and cellular biology and utilize a broad range of approaches and experimental systems. We support our faculty by providing a collegial environment, an outstanding graduate program, and state of the art technical and research resources and facilities. The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center is located in a modern campus by Lake Union in Seattle, Washington, and is close to other non-profit research institutes and the University of Washington. Qualifications

Ph.D., M.D., or D.V.M. required.  Applicants must already hold an independent position as an independent fellow, tenure-track, or tenured faculty member or equivalent
