Prostate Cancer Research Program

As a survivor of Prostate Cancer, you may find yourself in a new stage of life. This will be a time of transition in many ways, as you begin continuous follow-up care for your physical health and emotional needs.

The Survivorship Program at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) offers treatment, support, and education for prostate cancer survivors, as well as your primary care physicians and families in the years following your cancer treatment.

You might need support dealing with issues specific to your recovery from prostate cancer, whether you were treated with radiation or surgery. You may need information on nutrition, exercise, or support groups.

Through the Survivorship Program, you will be given a thorough screening and health evaluation by our medical staff. You will leave with a treatment summary that lists all of your treatment and all medical information that is pertinent to your diagnosis and any late effects you may experience. This treatment summary will have recommendations for you and your healthcare provider to keep you as healthy and as informed as possible in the years following your treatment for prostate cancer.
