Hutch leads final standings of biotech basketball league

Softball team seeks players

The Center's team has landed on top in the regular season standings of the Northwest Winter Biotech Basketball League.

The season for the eight-team men's league covered four months. The players on the Center team, all Center staff, are David Moore, Brian Ecker, Knut Madden, David Lahti, Doug Woodle, Chris Armour, Elliot Epner, Matt Gordon, Tony Gerber, Gerald Alexander, Greg Schimmack and Mike Weygint.

Here are the final standings:

Hutchinson Center 9-1
Zymogenetics 8-2
ICOS 6-4
Darwin 4-6
Immunex 4-6
NeoRx 4-6
BMS 3-7
CellPro 2-8

Men's slow-pitch softball team seeks more players

The Center's Summer Men's Slow-Pitch Softball Team still needs a few more players.

The team will play on variable weeknights from June 11 to Aug. 11.

Dues will be about $30, for 14 season games and a minimum of two playoff games. Help with managing the team will be particularly appreciated.
