Hormone study seeks volunteers

A Center Public Health Sciences Division study seeks female volunteers to participate in a study on effects of magnetic fields on female reproductive hormones and melatonin.

Volunteers must be 20-40, live in King or south Snohomish County, have regular menstrual periods, not be taking hormonal contraceptives, not have been pregnant or nursing within the last year and not be taking melatonin supplements.

Commitment is five to seven hours over three months. Participants in the study receive $100 upon the study's completion.

For more information and to volunteer, call Sarah Velde of the Female Hormone Study in the Epidemiology Program of the Public Health Sciences Division at Ext. 7212.
