Get entry rules for December's holiday door decorating contest

It's not too soon to start preparing for the 2000 Holiday Door Decorating Contest. To enter and get a copy of the rules and prizes, call Katherine Clarke in Human Resources at Ext. 5128 by Friday, Dec. 15. Judging will take place Monday, Dec. 18, and winners will be announced in the Thursday, Dec. 21, edition of Center News.




Next Hutch blood drive comes Wednesday after Thanksgiving

The first Puget Sound Blood Center blood drive at the Center since the celebration of the Hutch's 25 th anniversary in September will take place on the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. Blood center staff will collect blood from faculty and staff from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and 1:30 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, in the Sze Conference Room at the Day Campus.

Holiday Fair, `Light the Way' set Friday, Dec. 1, on Day Campus

Think first as in Friday, Dec. 1. That's when the Hutch Holiday Craft Fair takes place, from 2 to 6 p.m. in Sze Conference Room in the Thomas Building. Immediately afterward, the Hutch's annual "Light the Way" ceremony begins in Pelton Auditorium.

Part of fair proceeds go to Hutch School. Crafters include Roy Multer, Polly Richeson, Sue Madill, Tina Schuman, Donna Greene, Stacie Kentop, Fariba Barahmand-Pour, Jennifer Becker, Tamara Evans, Jenny Torgerson, Deborah Kirsner, Lisa Reed, Cecilia Hagens, Jessica Arnaudo, Dana Panteleef, Barbara Hansen and Jennifer Daniels. The hour-long evening ceremony will feature talks by former patients and a pediatric oncologist, along with white lights adorning trees throughout the Day Campus one for each gift received by the Hutch in November and December. RSVP to: Ext. 4399.
