SEP Funders

A continuing challenge has been to provide ongoing support to participants as our community of teachers grows. In addition to direct financial support from the Hutchinson Center, which also includes the time, enthusiasm, and resources of dozens of Center scientists, SEP has had success in obtaining grant and foundation support from several sources.

SEP receives major funding by a grant to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute through the Precollege Science Education Program. See the HHMI press release for the 2007 award here.

SEP is also pleased to announce financial support from The Boeing Company Charitable Trust for the 2009-2010 Kit Loan Program.

Major funding over the last several years has also come from grants from the Amgen Foundation, Washington Mutual Bank, Wells Fargo Foundation, and the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations.

We are also pleased to acknowledge donations of materials to support our Kit Loan Program from:
