The Student/Postdoc Advisory Committee is pleased to announce the Second Annual Career Day at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. The format is similar to last year, with a variety of panel discussions designed to provide postdocs and graduate students with information about the types of careers available to research scientists at the early stages of their career. A Career Fair will feature representatives from local biotechnology companies and research institutes. Lunch will be provided to all registered participants during the Career Fair. Confirmed panel members come from a variety of institutions including ICOS, Amgen, Seattle Genetics, the Seattle Biomedical Research Institute, the Benaroya Research Institute, the HIV Vaccine Trial Network, the Washington Research Foundation, and more. The current schedule and registration information are below.

RSVP to Michelle Hruby no later than Wednesday, March 9, 2005. Please provide the following information: name, position, division, email address and if you will be having lunch. Space is limited so register soon. Participation in this event is currently limited to FHCRC-affiliated staff scientists, postdocs and graduate students. Individuals from other institutions will be added to a waiting list and notified if room is available for the panel discussions but will not be eligible for lunch.
