Organization

1. The international biomarker discovery effort will be coordinated through a web-based bioinformatics portal
   Each team will have a profile on the ICBC website describing the expertise of the team and the technology available to them as well as posting published protocols and papers.
2. A Steering Committee will be formed to facilitate information exchange and promote funding opportunities
   Each team must secure its own funding locally. However, the Steering Commitee will be happy to work with prospective teams to prepare materials and to meet with government officials to explain the importance of this project for the future of healthcare in each country.
