Welcome! We are located at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle WA. Our research focus is the mechanism of eukaryotic transcription (the synthesis of RNA) by RNA Polymerases II and III. Research in the laboratory uses biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, and structural biology to understand key protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions which are fundamental to the regulation and mechanism of transcription.
