Hindbrain Patterning During Zebrafish Embryogenesis
Our lab is interested in understanding how the vertebrate brain is regionalized early in
development so that it is able to give rise to the complex adult structure. We use a combination of
zebrafish genetics and experimental embryology to identify the genes that control early brain
regionalization, to learn where and when they function, and by what molecular mechanism.
