The Priess Lab, part of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, is located at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. FHCRC is located on the shores of Lake Union in Seattle, Washington, USA, and is a two-hour drive from Mt. Rainier.

Our lab studies the nematode, Caenorhabditis elegans as a model system to understand the mechanisms that control development from a single-celled embryo into a complex, multi-cellular organism.
