An article in the Hutchinson newspaper, CENTER NEWS dated May 2, 1996, presented the story of the initial experiments describing the p145^Ship protein and had a good photograph of two distinguished scientists looking at a petri dish. The photo, however, has turned into a humor contest with almost two dozen entries adding their "words" to the figure. The first few of these are presented by selecting the date on the left.
