Description: The Immune Exercise Study (IMEX) is a randomized intervention study. Participants in the study include a subset of 117 women from the Physical Activity for Total Health (PATH) Study. The women are randomly assigned to either an aerobic exercise/strength training group or a stretching exercise group. The goal of the study is to examine how moderate exercise affects immune function.
