This study seeks to identify factors that affect the risk of recurrence and death in a cohort of 1400 women diagnosed with invasive breast cancer before age 45. Women with a recurrence will be compared to women who have not experienced recurrence on: risk factor information obtained in the original interview, pregnancies, use of OCs and HRT after diagnosis, histopathologic characteristics, expression of tumor related proteins (ICC), angiogenic response, and cellular proliferation.
