Tamoxifen & Second Breast Cancer: Epidemiology and Pathology

The purpose of this population-based nested case-control study is to evaluate how treatment with tamoxifen influences a breast cancer survivor's risk of developing a second, or contralateral, breast cancer. Additionally we will assess how tamoxifen use relates to the expression of various tumor markers associated with prognosis and tamoxifen resistance.
