Goals- Train translational researchers (post-doctoral fellows, junior faculty), enhance educational activities & opportunities within the scope of TREC projects.

Developmental Projects
Goals- Funding of innovative translational research pilot projects (3-4 projects/year) aimed at enhancing understanding of the mechanisms associating energy balance and carcinogenesis or develop effective innovative approaches with broad population impact for prevention of obesity with particular emphases on children and critical time periods during adulthood where weight gain is likely to occur.
