Yoga Study

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center has recruited over 60 local breast cancer survivors for a study to test the effectiveness of a yoga program on quality of life, fatigue, and weight change. This study is ongoing but closed to new participants.

The Effect of Yoga on Weight and Fatigue in Breast Cancer Patients Study (Yoga Study) tests an innovative approach to the treatment of cancer-related fatigue. By participating in this study, women play an important role in helping researchers identify lifestyle behaviors that may improve quality of life and may decrease the risk of recurrent breast cancer.
