Document delivery and interlibrary loan (I.L.L.) services provide access to copies of journal articles and books from the Arnold Library collection as well as from other local, regional and national research libraries.
Items Owned by the Arnold Library
If an item resides at a branch of the Arnold Library in a location other than your own, library
staff will photocopy items for you at the same rate as self-service. These items are mailed to you
unless you denote otherwise. Please use the forms listed in the left column.
Items Owned by Other Libraries
Journal articles and books not
in our collection will be located through the National Network of
Libraries of Medicine and obtained on your behalf. Requests for items
found in local libraries, including the University of Washington,
are usually filled within three days. Most other requests are filled
within two weeks. Articles which are difficult to locate or
incompletely referenced may take longer or be returned to you for
additional information.
For RUSH requests, please call 667-6852.
