Julia's role includes invention disclosure evaluation, intellectual property management, technology licensing and agreement negotiation. In addition to negotiating and drafting license, option, confidentiality and other agreements, she also works with Sheri Kucinskas in the office for the more complex, industry related material transfer agreement. Julia also takes an active role in managing the various agreement flow associated with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation award to the FHCRC.
Julia joined our office after an 8-month full-time internship in the Office of Technology Transfer at the University of Rochester as a Biomedical Licensing Associate.
She received a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from Shandong University, China and a Ph.D. degree in Immunology & Virology from the University of Rochester, New York. She has strong scientific background in a wide variety of disciplines, including immunology, virology and molecular biology.
