Purpose
To provide short term funding for specific research projects considered to be of commercial value, but too early to attract a licensing partner or venture funding. The funds will be used to develop additional data and a more thorough plan for development of the technology.
Applicants
Must be Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center Faculty Members. Staff scientists and postdoctoral fellows are eligible to apply if they provide a letter of support from their PIs.
Award Amount
Open. Applications will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Funding will be determined based on the objective(s) to be achieved.
Review and Decision Process
Applications will be reviewed and decisions made by a committee of FHCRC faculty members. The committee will receive additional input from the Technology Transfer Office and outside advisors as appropriate.
