Health, Eating, Activity, and Lifestyle (HEAL) Study

Location: Multi-site study (Western Washington, New Mexico, Southern California)

Description: The goal of the Health, Eating, Activity, and Lifestyle (HEAL) Study is to investigate methods to improve breast cancer survival. Participants in the study include breast cancer survivors from three parts of the U.S.: 202 in Western Washington, 660 in New Mexico, and 372 in Southern California. The HEAL Study will examine the relationship between diet, physical activity, weight patterns, hormonal factors, breast density, quality of life, and breast cancer prognosis.
